About the Role

Our client provides high-quality conveyor and bulk materials handling solutions to major corporations and engineering firms, primarily in the mining and quarrying sectors.

This role's main focus is needed to drive new business opportunities, manage key relationships, and expand the customer base within the engineering sector.

• Identify and secure new business in industries like mining and quarrying.
• Build relationships with procurement, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Lead consultative sales, including quotations and tenders.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
• Work closely with internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
• Extensive domestic and occasional international travel required.

About You

• Minimum 12 months experience in engineering solutions-based business development.
• Background in Mechanical Engineering or relevant commercial experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with SAP Business One or similar ERP is beneficial.
• Established contacts within EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction).
• Must have full Australian work rights and a valid passport.
• Mandatory police check required.
