Your new role

As a Data Manager, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, acquiring, managing, integrating, and sharing data. Your responsibilities will include managing paper records, conducting records management activities within the electronic document and records management system (EDRMS), assisting with metadata management, and developing an Information Asset Register. You will also provide guidance and training on recordkeeping, perform system administration tasks, and contribute to project work.

What you'll need to succeed

• Understanding of Australian Government recordkeeping and digitisation legislation and standards.
• Experience in implementing best practice recordkeeping approaches using EDRMS.
• Proven ability to set priorities and deliver quality results on time.
• Effective communication skills to respond to stakeholder needs across a geographically dispersed network.
• Ability to analyse information for accurate conclusions and support compliance and information governance.
• Demonstrated professional and personal integrity.
• Experience working both autonomously and in a team.
• Ability to remain positive and respond to pressure calmly.

Desirable:

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Information Management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Experience working with ObjectiveIM.
