Victor Bimrose Accountancy is currently seeking a full-time Junior Accountant to join their team and would welcome anyone with appropriate skills and experience who is willing to commit to a long-term appointment.

At Victor Bimrose Accountancy, we specialise in strategic tax advice, offering tax and financial reporting for individual and family businesses. We help our clients to understand their numbers so they may legitimately save on tax, capitalise on opportunities, reduce risks and ultimately, take control of their personal and business affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing end of year financial reports and tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Preparing monthly and quarterly business activity statements for multiple businesses
• Supporting senior accountants with tax research and analysis
• Reviewing and analysing financial statements for tax compliance
• Helping prepare tax planning strategies for clients
• Answering client enquiries relating to tax compliance and bookkeeping matters
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensure databases are updated accordingly
• Collate and file documentation for client records
• Staying up-to-date with tax laws and regulations
• Assisting with ad-hoc tax-related projects and administrative tasks as required

Selection Criteria

• Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting
• 3 years of relevant work experience

Remuneration

$73,150K per annum based on a 38-hour week plus superannuation.
