About the role

As a Sheet Fed Offset Print Operator at Newstyle Print, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, time-sensitive printed materials for our diverse range of clients. This full-time position is based in our modern printing facility in Mile End, South Australia. It is based on a 37.5 hour work week with negotiable hours and start time plus overtime available as required.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our 28” Lithrone 5 Colour Komori Offset Printing Press.

What you'll be doing

• Set up, operate and monitor sheet-fed offset printing presses to produce a variety of printed materials such as brochures, flyers, posters and stationery
• Ensure print quality and colour consistency by performing regular checks and making necessary adjustments
• Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot any technical issues with the printing equipment
• Work closely with the prepress and production teams to ensure a smooth workflow
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to print jobs
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a sheet-fed offset print operator, with a strong understanding of the printing process and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality print standards
• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting sheet-fed offset printing presses
• Knowledge of colour management and the ability to achieve consistent colour reproduction
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills to ensure timely delivery of print jobs
• Willingness to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments
• Relevant vocational qualification or trade certification in printing or a related field
