Quality Coordinator - Community Aged Care

A wonderful NFP organisation located in near Templestowe, are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Coordinator to join their team and play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of their services.

About the role:
This fantastic role will focus on providing support to Home Care Managers/Staff throughout the organisation and maintaining quality standards throughout.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Community/Residential Aged Care who has specialised in compliance maintenance, Quality Management & has accreditation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits and collaborate with clinical staff and managers to address risks, and support continuous improvement in all areas.
• Reporting to Quality Manager and working in a small team of Quality Coordinators.
• Ensure effective client assessment and care planning processes.
• Maintain knowledge on accreditation standards, legislation and clinical governance.
• Up to $60 per hour (based on experience) + super + salary packaging

Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in quality and compliance within Community and Home Aged Care services.
• Strong knowledge of aged care legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with clinical audits, risk management, and policy control.
• Empathy and respect when working with elderly clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills.
