ABOUT THE ROLE
Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Director Regional Operations and contribute to the efficient overall functioning of the office. Ensure communication systems are in place to facilitate information transfer to optimise the effective and efficient operations of the department.

We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- Managing executive correspondence, diaries, and scheduling meetings.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Is highly organised and has excellent attention to detail.
- Upholds integrity and confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
- Has a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Possesses strong technological proficiency, particularly in administrative systems.
- Coordinating travel arrangements and supporting operational functions.

The average number of ambulance responses increased by 3.3 per cent over the past year. Factors contributing to increased activity include population growth, an ageing population and the associated increase in rates of illness.
In 2013/14 we provided 1,234,843 total responses (both emergency and non-emergency) compared to 1,219,262 total responses in 2012/13. There were on average 3383 responses per day - this is equivalent to a response every 26 seconds.
