Known as a solution and service delivery innovator and integrator, our young and very dynamic client has rapidly established itself as a partner of choice for Business, Enterprise & Government organisations. They’ve done things the right way round, investing in building a world-class platform and establishing substantial, trusted partnerships I normally see organisations take years to build. Their domains include network, mobility and IoT with unique managed services, project management, consulting, delivery and solutions around large scale projects.
Having done the hard yards, the directors are now ready to recruit someone to take over sales and I’m happy to report, this is a dream sales role. Fantastic relationships are in place, a critical vendor partnership and people knocking on their door requesting responses to tenders with haste. That’s not to say they don’t also need someone to open doors for them and key industries include mining, construction, Not for Profit and local councils.
As such, they are looking to appoint a high energy, consultative and strategic sales professional from within the ICT industry to take ownership of the sales process and lead the growth charge. The ideal candidate will be a ‘long-term view’ kind of person who has outstanding relationship skills and a really solid, established network themselves. Consideration will also be given to a super-star up-and-comer who can demonstrate a solid track record who is hungry, has the right attitude and approach and can learn and be moulded.
Skills & Experience:
- A strong understanding of the Telco and ICT industry, combined with the technical nous to comprehend products, solutions, and strategic approaches for customised sales engagements.
- Adaptability and flexibility with regards to the challenges of being part of a medium-sized and growing business.
- Driven to meet targets, a self-starter capable of maintaining enthusiasm and energy. Whilst this is a dream job, there will be hard work ahead and a lot of bases to cover initially until the sales team can expand.
- An absolute team player who will build strong relationships internally with the technical and delivery teams as well as externally with the market.
This is very much a hands-on role for an outstanding ICT sales professional who enjoys diverse responsibilities and is looking for stability (no staff have left in the past four years), flexibility, and a varied and interesting role working with super smart, super focussed people. I can tell you right now, this company is going places. This will be an exciting time of growth and there is real scope here for both career progression along with genuine and generous financial rewards. The office is on the CBD fringe but there is some flexibility around a hybrid model for the person who delivers results.
