Join Fossix Corporate Coffee as our Strategic Account and Business Development Manager and become a driving force behind our corporate hospitality success. This is a hybrid role with a primary focus on managing relationships with our key accounts, extending into new business development.
Strategic Account Management
You will lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional corporate coffee and hospitality services across high-profile corporate clients including Salesforce, JLL and Multiplex. Your strategic vision and corporate sales experience will shape our commercial growth and operational excellence, ensuring outstanding customer experiences across all service touchpoints.
As the key liaison between our clients and our service delivery teams, you'll be responsible for nurturing strong relationships, overseeing daily operations and identifying growth opportunities. Your leadership will not only enhance client satisfaction but also foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes employee development and retention.
Business Development
You will drive the expansion of our corporate coffee services by developing and executing a strategic sales plan that identifies and capitalises on market opportunities. Leveraging your industry insight and commercial acumen, you will proactively generate new business by identifying key prospects, nurturing leads, and building strong relationships with potential clients.
As the champion of our sales pipeline, you will spearhead the use of our CRM system to track and nurture opportunities, ensuring a seamless journey from initial contact to conversion. Your business development expertise will be instrumental in leveraging the industry-specific events designed by our marketing team, to achieve strong engagement with potential clients and position you as our key point of contact.
From crafting persuasive proposals to delivering impactful pitch presentations, you will play a pivotal role in securing new contracts and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to onboarding, setting the stage for long-term client success.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of our barista bars, corporate catering and events across multiple client sites, ensuring they are delivering with excellence and on budget.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with Fossix's vision, values and business goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and reporting.
- Lead and inspire a team to achieve business goals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and WHS regulations.
- Formulate and implement sales plans to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, driving revenue growth in corporate coffee services.
- Proactively seek and engage potential clients through LinkedIn, research, networking and outreach to expand our corporate client base.
- Work closely with marketing to provide strategic direction to ensure campaigns generate interest and attract inbound leads.
- Utilise our CRM system to track leads, monitor sales activities, and ensure timely follow-up to efficiently drive sales pipeline momentum.
- Participate in targeted business events to strengthen relationships and generate new business leads.
- Craft tailored proposals and deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients, clearly communicating the value of our services.
- Oversee the seamless transition of new clients from contract signing through setup, onboarding, and implementation for long-term success.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a Key Account Director role within the hospitality sector with responsibility for overseeing multiple sites, venues, or retail operations.
- Proven success in developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive financial performance.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting processes, and market trends.
- Excellent leadership skills with an ability to inspire, motivate, and train teams to maintain peak performance.
- A strong track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities within the hospitality sector, driving revenue growth through proactive relationship-building and strategic market engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement targeted sales strategies that align with business objectives, effectively positioning corporate coffee services in a competitive market.
- Experience collaborating with marketing teams to create compelling content and lead-generation campaigns that enhance brand awareness and drive inbound sales opportunities.
- Deep experience in specialty coffee would be highly desirable but not essential.
