About the role

Motyl Interiors', a leading provider of custom cabinetry and joinery solutions, is seeking a talented CAD Programmer/Trainee to join our dynamic team in our Green Fields SA location. This full-time role presents an exciting opportunity to apply your skills and contribute to the design and development of innovative interior solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Utilise computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D and 3D designs for custom cabinetry and joinery projects
• Collaborate with the design team to translate client requirements into practical, visually appealing solutions
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation to support the manufacturing and installation processes
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements

What we're looking for

• Expierence as cabinetmaker or related field (minimum 3 years)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to develop innovative design solutions
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with the design team and liaise with client
