The successful candidate will be motivated to learn as well as a good degree of general computer knowledge as report writing will from part of the scope of work duties.

Candidates from either geotechnical or concrete laboratory backgrounds will be highly regarded

The position involves the location of insitu services prior to cutting & core drilling, with a strong emphasis on GPR scanning (concrete imaging) and the use of electronic detection methods.

The work is performed within a small loyal work team although when training is completed there will be a high amount of personal onsite work, thus good communication skills are essential.

The position also includes structural investigation work which involves GPR scanning and physical breakout work to verify structural elements inside concrete. Experience with power tools eg, grinders & jack hammers would be beneficial.

The position will also involve project managing workloads depending on experience and qualifications.

EWP, Rail, Confined Space and Working at Heights is also preferred but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

The work will be in the Central Coast, Newcastle and Sydney regions with the occasional work outside those areas as needed and thus a candidate residing on the Central Coast will be highly regarded. Night work will also be required from time to time

A company vehicle and phone will be supplied to the successful candidate (to and from work vehicle)
