At Catholic Early EdCare (CEEC), we’re passionate about providing high-quality care and education across Queensland, and we’re looking for a skilled Rostering Coordinator to help us optimise our staffing and create smooth, efficient operational processes. Your New Role:
As our Rostering Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our services. You will:
- Oversee rostering processes across multiple sites, ensuring we meet compliance standards and stay aligned with industrial agreements.
- Partner with service leaders to optimise rostering practices, ensuring that every shift is effectively staffed, cost-efficient, and compliant.
- Take charge of our rostering system (e.g., Xplor) to maintain accurate records and ensure timely payroll reporting.
- Monitor workforce compliance by ensuring all staff have up-to-date qualifications, Blue Cards, and meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency, proactively addressing staffing gaps before engaging external agencies.
- Work with colleagues across the Workforce Management team to make sure our operational teams are running smoothly and effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: A solid background in workforce planning, rostering, and managing casual/agency staff.
- Industry Knowledge: A good understanding of childcare (or similar industries) regulations, and compliance with industrial relations.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with rostering systems (e.g., Xplor), Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Exceptional Communicator: You’ll have the ability to coach and guide others on best rostering practices.
- Problem Solver: You’re able to quickly analyse data and take proactive steps to improve workforce mobilisation and efficiency.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and Criminal History clearance.
- Completion of CEEC Safeguarding Training (to be completed upon hire).
