ICT Program Delivery and Governance Director (SOG A)

• 12-month contract + possible extension
• Bruce location + WFH (3 days in office) - free onsite parking

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the ICT Program Delivery and Governance Director will be responsible for successfully leading and implementing the Cloud program objectives and deliverables while ensuring alignment and support for the Digital Transformation Strategy.

You will also be responsible for leading a team of professional practices such as Program Management, Capability and Delivery, Capability Analysis and Architecture, and promoting collaboration across the broader Institute to support the workforce to achieve the organisational goals described in the Strategic Compass and continuing a strong collaboration with DDTS.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide strategic oversight and steering the delivery of the Cloud Campus program, along with pivotal ICT initiatives and associated activities, based upon the ACT Government Digital, Data and Technology Solutions P3M Framework. The Program adheres to the Managing Successful Programs methodology (MSP).
• Define program requirements through accurately establishing user expectations and analysing stakeholder interests.
• Ensure programs and projects are integrated across Whole-of-Government systems as required, in consultation with the DDTS Portfolio Delivery Office.
• Manage and control the delivery of the program.
• Attend and report to the three Governance Board’s about the projects and program’s progress and deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in delivery of technical projects and programs, including a high-level understanding of project methodologies, processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage the scoping and delivery of complex programs, including the ability to address administrative and operational considerations.
• Demonstrated experience to lead a large and diverse organisation through change.
• Qualifications in project / program management, or extensive experience in a project or program management role at a senior level in a public service environment is highly desirable.
• Experience in leading a business through change at a senior level in a public service environment is highly desirable
