The ICT Program Delivery and Governance Director will be responsible for successfully leading and implementing the Cloud Program objectives and deliverables while ensuring alignment and support for the organisation’s Digital Transformation Strategy. This Cloud Program is not just about delivering technical solutions to support the organisation – it is about undertaking the key transformation of the way that the organisation performs its business using digital capabilities and planning to support the change.

This person will also be responsible for leading a team of professional practices such as Program Management, Capability and Delivery, Capability Analysis and Architecture while promoting collaboration across the broader connecting agencies.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic oversight and steering the delivery of the Cloud program, along with pivotal ICT initiatives and associated activities, based upon the ACT Government framework
2. Define program requirements through accurately establishing user expectations and analysing stakeholder interests
3. Ensure benefits realisation and business outcomes are achieved for each project and program
4. Manage and control the delivery of the program.
5. Attend and report to the three Governance Board’s about the projects and program’s progress and deliverables.
6. Work alongside the organisations Renewal team to ensure program integration with the new institution and future projects.
7. Manage procurement processes in accordance with ACT Government procurement guidelines

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Demonstrated experience in delivering and leading technical projects and programs
2. Demonstrated experience to lead a large and diverse organisation through change.
3. Qualifications in project / program management, or extensive experience in a project or program management role at a senior level in a public service environment is highly desirable.
4. Experience in leading a business through change at a senior level in a public service environment is highly desirable.
