Saint Luke's Medical Centre is a family owned and operated general practice with an exciting opportunity for a receptionist to join our team.

Qualifications & experience

• Previous experience in medical reception is preferable but not required. On the job training will be provided regardless of level of experience.
• High level of computer literacy - software specific training will be provided
• High level of verbal and written communication

Tasks & responsibilities

• Answering and making phone calls (inquiries, appointment requests, etc)
• Maintaining patient records
• Making and maintaining appointment schedules
• Process patient appointments
• Knowledge of fees charged by Doctors / Nurses
• Scanning and filing documents
• Communicating with other clinics, hospitals, specialist clinics, etc
• Attend to incoming reception emails, faxes and post
• Perform opening and closing procedures
