About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our medical practice and providing exceptional customer service to our patients in Melton, VIC 3337.

What you'll be doing

• Warmly greet and welcome patients, both in-person and on the phone
• Schedule appointments and manage patient bookings efficiently
• Handle patient inquiries and provide information about our services
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical files
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and medical staff,
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in using medical practice management software and general office equipment
• Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine interest in supporting patient wellbeing
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism
