Our client NET Modular was established locally over 30 years ago and is at the cutting edge of innovation for the manufacture of transportable modular buildings for the education sector. NET’s strong pipeline of upcoming work means we are recruiting Painters and Brush Hands to join their team in Rutherford. This role involves end-to-end prepping and painting of modular building components in a workshop-based environment.

Key elements of this role are:

• Preparing surfaces by sanding and gap-filling holes and cracks
• Application of undercoat and topcoats of paint using various tools, including brushes and rollers
• General housekeeping – ensuring workstations remain clean and tidy at all times

We are looking for candidates with the following:

• Experience as a Painter / Brush Hand
• Qualification in Painting - advantageous but not essential
• Attention to detail and enjoy hands-on production work
• The ability to identify and minimize risk when dealing with potential hazards
• Great work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
