Workfast is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Spray Painter to join a high-performing engineering team working on exciting defence projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting and coating of metal, machinery, and equipment. • Pay Rate: $42.65 - 50 per hour + Penalties and Super

What you need

• Proven experience as an Industrial Spray Painter or in a similar role
• APAS Certification - Preferred
• Forklift License - Preferred
• High attention to detail and quality of work
• Ability to work with various types of spray painting equipment
• Knowledge of industrial paints and coatings
• Safety-conscious and adherence to safety protocols
• Must be able to pass a Police Check
• Own or have access to reliable transport

What you will be doing

• Preparing surfaces for spray painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking
• Applying industrial coatings to metal, machinery, and other materials
• Operating spray equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensuring a high-quality finish on all painted surfaces
• Inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring quality standards are met
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring it’s in good working order
• Complying with all health and safety regulations
• Keeping work area clean and organised
