Your Role:

In this newly created role, you will report to, and work closely with, the Manager - Accounts Receivable to lead our Accounts Receivable team to:

  • Optimise our invoicing and receivables processes.
  • Lead and manage a high performing team.
  • Ensure that we deliver exceptional service while maximising productivity and efficiency.
  • Coach and develop team members to achieve their career goals.

Your leadership will be instrumental in driving improvements, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in a purposeful organisation dedicated to making a difference in the community.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable leader who thrives on challenges, has a strong background in leading and coaching teams and who possesses:

  • A Business degree, Certificate IV in Business or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive Accounts Receivable experience, including invoicing, debt collection, and reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical skills with a flair for resolving discrepancies and identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing teams in a fast-paced, challenging, yet rewarding environment.
  • Familiarity with compliance legislation and tax regulations to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel; experience with Technology One and bank reconciliation is a plus.
