Capstone are recruiting a Project Coordinator position to work within the Finance, Commercial and Digital group at Sydney Water!

Overview:

• To commence April 2025, for 6 months
• Temp contract paying $600 - $700 per day + super
• Working full-time hours (40hrs p/week), with flexible start and finish times
• Each week working 2-days from their Parramatta office, and 1-day from their North Ryde lab, then 2-days working from home
• Working on enterprise uplift (business improvement) projects and programs
• Report into the Manager Delivery & Portfolio Services

Role:
As the Project Coordinator you will support the successful delivery of the Enterprise portfolio of uplift projects and programs through the provision of project coordination, governance and operational support, including reporting, risk and issue tracking, quality assurance and document management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide program support functions, supporting the Project Manager in the successful implementation, and completion of Program.
• Maintain PMO dashboard and reports, SharePoint site content and project document library, and other system or tool contents as needed.
• Manage and improve quality management functions including product reviews, quality reviews and lessons learnt.
• Support the leads in identifying risks and issues on programs/projects – advising team on the development of risk management and issue management plans.
• Exercise astute judgement in managing confidential and sensitive information that has the potential to impact on organisational performance and reputation.
• Assist with the coordination of team meetings and ceremonies that support successful delivery.

Criteria:

• Previous experience as a Senior Project Officer or Project Coordinator, within similar team (business improvement / enterprise transformation), working for a large organisation) is required.
• Previous experience performing similar tasks (project reporting, project governance, creating dashboards, tracking of risks etc), is required.
• Experience using SharePoint, MS Project and SAP, is highly desired.
