Position: NDIS Rostering Officer
Location: Southport

We seek a dedicated, experienced NDIS Rostering Officer to join our team immediately. This is an exciting and dynamic role where your expertise in the disability and aged care industry will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of the SCHADS Award.
  • Rostering and Scheduling: Ensure all shifts are covered per the NDIS standards and guidelines, maintaining appropriate hours for staff and clients.
  • Compliance: Understand and apply the complexities of NDIS rostering, ensuring all staff work the appropriate hours and have required breaks and time off.
  • Staff Management: Collaborate closely with a team of managers, ensuring that staffing needs are met, and that the right staff are matched to the right clients.
  • Client Care: Get to know both clients and staff generously to ensure the best possible care is provided, making sure that clients feel valued, respected, and safe at all times.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly respond to last-minute shift cancellations, resolving challenges as they arise to ensure that the care team is always adequately staffed.
  • After-Hours Support: There may be occasional after-hours work to address emergencies and urgent rostering issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in the Disability & Aged Care Industry: You must have a solid understanding of the NDIS standards and the complexities of rostering in a disability or aged care setting.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in scheduling and compliance with NDIS regulations is crucial.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to work with a diverse team and build strong relationships with clients and staff.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Managing last-minute changes and resolving challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to handle occasional after-hours work and manage emergencies as they arise.
  • Shiftcare and Paycat knowledge desirable but not essential.
