Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of NDIS participants? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive NDIS Area Coordinator to join our team! This role is a hybrid position, combining direct participant support with administrative responsibilities, ensuring high-quality services and smooth operations.

About the Role:

As an NDIS Area Coordinator, you will play a key role in overseeing support services, managing staff, coordinating rosters, and engaging with stakeholders. You will ensure that NDIS participants receive the care and assistance they need while maintaining compliance and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Work & Participant Engagement

  • Provide hands-on support to NDIS participants when needed, assisting with daily activities and community participation.
  • Ensure participants’ personal care, medication management, and social inclusion are prioritized.
  • Address participant concerns and ensure service quality meets NDIS standards.

Administrative & Coordination Duties

  • Oversee rostering, ensuring efficient allocation of support staff and managing any schedule adjustments.
  • Conduct case management, ensuring participant care plans and progress reports are up to date.
  • Handle incident reports, compliance documentation, and staff performance records.

Staff Training & Supervision

  • Provide training and ongoing support to Disability Support Workers.
  • Organize monthly team meetings and training sessions to maintain service excellence.
  • Monitor staff compliance with policies, procedures, and care guidelines.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with participants, families, and external providers.
  • Liaise with Support Coordinators, Allied Health Professionals, and NDIS stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  • Work closely with management to improve operational efficiency and service quality.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in disability support, NDIS services, or care coordination
  • Strong skills in rostering, compliance, and team management
  • Ability to multitask between direct support and administrative duties
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of NDIS guidelines and quality standards
