About the role
Beyond Care is seeking a dedicated House Coordinator to join our team in Penrith, NSW. As a House Coordinator for our Supported Independent Living program, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with disabilities to live independently and achieve their personal goals. This full-time position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of a Supported Independent Living home, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for residents
- Develop and implement individualised support plans to help clients achieve their personal, social, and independence goals
- Provide hands-on assistance and supervision to clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and community engagement
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless and coordinated care
- Manage rosters, budgets, and reporting for your assigned home
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of support workers to deliver high-quality, person-centered care
What we're looking for
- Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Supported Independent Living or disability support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their support networks
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a solution-focused mindset
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work as part of a team
- Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities
- Current Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle
