Join Top tier law firm as their Front of House Supervisor. This is a Front of House Supervisor role with a difference as you will only work Monday to Friday day shift (no weekends), with paid overtime for any evening functions and you'll never work another Christmas Day or NYE again! This role will ideally suit a candidate who has experience in working at high end hotels or restaurants and knows the true meaning of delivering excellence in client service and maintaining ongoing strong customer relationships.
Our clients internal client services team has an exceptional reputation for delivering an exceptional experience delivered by their talented Head Chef and expert FoH team. If you have exceptional customer service and relationship skills, staff rostering, ordering, events delivery and budget experience we want to talk to you.
Key responsibilities of the role are -
- Manage and facilitate the delivery of food, beverages and equipment for meetings, events and functions, including off-floor catering and Café.
- Utilise booking software to manage workload of the waiting team, for efficient provisioning of services to the client floor.
- Liaise with Client Services Coordinator, Corporate Head Chef and Client Services Manager to ensure up to date information and changes are communicated regarding catering and events.
- Oversee and deliver waiter services for on-premises functions and meetings, ensuring proper room setup, high-quality service and timely completion of all wait staff duties.
- Manage waiting staff rostering, agency staff and daily allocation of wait staff duties, while also providing support for Café operations, including backfilling for Barista breaks and leave.
- Actively manage Food Safety Plan and coordinate RSA and Food Handling refresher courses for all waitstaff.
- Mentor, support and inspire the wait team to ensure that staff meet high standards; always well-presented, in the correct uniform, and comply with strict hygiene protocols.
- Provide hands on Audio Visual and Video Conference assistance.
- Receive and process invoices, assist with costing, database management and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist Client Services Manager to monitor quality of supplies, manage supplier relationships, source new suppliers and purchase equipment.
- Engage in cross-training activities to gain proficiency in different segments of Client Services, including but not limited to Cafe, Servery and Reception.
- Comply with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the requirements for this role
