Your Impact:
As a full time Store Manager, you will play a key role in;
- Deliver sales and store contribution budgets as set on a financial year basis.
- Develop a cohesive and effective team.
- Ensure all efforts are made to create a safe and welcoming environment for staff and customers.
- Ensure compliance to Good Sammy marketing, branding, POS and pricing policies.
- Manage stock, donations and inventory to achieve best results for customers.
- Ensure donation access and availability is maintained at all times.
- Support and supervise Participants and volunteers.
- Provide training and development opportunities for all staff.
What you'll do:
- Manage the day-to-day running of the store.
- Ensure employee work goals and training requirements are understood and serviced.
- Support and supervise Participants in their daily tasks and help them to achieve their employment goals.
- Manage fortnightly roster to enable maximum supported employment hours are achieved, in line with company guidelines.
- Develop annual store business plan and track progress with Cluster Managers.
- Identify opportunities for increased sales and improved customer service.
- Ensure a safe, accessible and healthy working culture is maintained at all times.
- Provide leadership, support and training to all staff members.
- Proactively manage stock selection, ordering frequency, stock rotation, sales, promotions, recruitment, pricing, merchandising, Gold Seal selection, local area marketing, timesheets, rostering, store presentation, waste management, information technology, recycling.
- Monitor and motivate staff members to work as a team to achieve retail aims. Engage in performance improvement when appropriate and with assistance from Good Sammy People and Culture Team.
- Ensure Good Sammy's policies and procedures are implemented and maintained.
- Contribute to the setting of sales budgets.
