The client:
Community Recovery (CR) assists disaster affected communities and provides human and social support to individuals, families and communities requiring assistance.
The team provides advice and assistance on available support to individuals impacted by disasters, including access to financial grants as well as support services, local community and NGO partner initiatives.
We are taking expressions of interest from candidates for this upcoming assignment with experience in Claims, Insurance, recoveries, Call Centre Customer Service experience.
The role:
As a Community Recovery Officer you'll play a crucial role by:
- Supporting the delivery of essential grant funding and support programs.
- Providing administrative support to customers and Senior Administrators
- Review and assess grant applications with precision and care.
- Reviewing grant reporting and acquittals to ensure transparency.
- Enforcing strict adherence to program guidelines.
- Provide customers with support, guidance and practical information referral to support services, and the distribution and coordination of financial assistance through Grants Processing.
You:
To be successful for this role. You will have:
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work in a focused and detail orientated environment.
- Experience in -volume customer support environment, Particularly Banking, Insurance, Claims, grants, Government support services, Case management etc.
- Experience using CRM's, Updating Customer information, and adhering to compliance policies.
- Demonstrate an ability to quickly develop an understanding of policy and procedure
- Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and in an adaptive environment.
