Eye wear specialists, this company that specialises in the design and sale of high-quality sunglasses and optical eye wear. They are known for offering stylish, functional eye wear that combines fashion with UV protection. The brand focuses on providing a wide variety of frames and lens options suitable for different tastes and needs, including prescription sunglasses, polarised lenses, and other premium eye wear products.
The Role:
Seeking a driven and experienced Territory Manager to take on an important role in the Victorian territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, as the focus of this role is on driving sales growth and managing key accounts. This is not a relationship-only management role-success in this position is tied to sales performance and portfolio expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a $1.4M portfolio, with a primary focus on Kering brands (Balenciaga, Gucci) and national brands (Le Specs, Oroton, Optical and Sun, Karen Walker, Cancer Council).
- Actively drive sales growth and expand the portfolio-this role is focused on results, not just maintaining existing accounts.
- Conduct regular customer visits, spending 5 days a week on the road, and building strong relationships with key clients in the territory.
- The role covers the City metro and southern Victoria territories, with a strong concentration of Kering customers, aiming to convert them to national brands.
- Overnight stays may be required depending on the customer call cycle, but regional trips are not needed as CA (Carol-Anne Newall, Team Lead) manages this aspect.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in wholesale or account management is required. A background in optometry is not necessary.
- A self-motivated, mature, and results-oriented individual who can manage their own time effectively.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a friendly, bubbly, and driven personality.
- Must be able to focus on both maintaining client relationships and growing sales, demonstrating a proactive approach to business development.
- Must hold full-drivers license with own vehicle.
Salary and Benefits:
- $75,000-$85,0000 + superannuation
