ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Location: Fitzroy Crossing, WA.
Employment Type: Full-Time - 38 hours per week + reasonable additional hours.
Employment Category: Permanent.
Remuneration & Benefits: $90,000 - $100,000 per annum + superannuation + salary sacrifice benefits. Heavily subsidised fully furnished accommodation, vehicle and relocation assistance.

Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation (MWWAC) is currently looking for an experienced, highly organised and proactive Administration Manager to oversee and lead our administration team in Fitzroy Crossing. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office, managing front reception, supervising administrative staff, and driving continuous improvement in office systems and processes.

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Marra Worra Worra Aboriginal Corporation was established in the late 1970s by the people of the Fitzroy Valley and is the largest and oldest Aboriginal resource agency in the Kimberley. The primary aim of Marra Worra Worra is to work with Bunuba, Gooniyandi, Wangkatjungka, Walmajarri and Nyikina groups in the Fitzroy Valley to strengthen culture, support community and create sustainable employment solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Administration Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the administration team, fostering a professional and efficient office environment.
  • Oversee office operations, ensuring smooth front desk and administrative support functions.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage office procurement, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations.
  • Supervise and mentor administrative staff, providing training and performance management.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, events, and corporate functions.
  • Work with external IT providers to maintain and manage ICT equipment and services.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements.
  • Promote workplace health and safety and maintain a positive, inclusive office culture.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced and proactive leader with:

  • Demonstrated experience in office administration and management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other administrative systems.
  • The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and problem-solve effectively.
  • A commitment to working in a culturally safe and inclusive manner with Aboriginal communities.

Please note: In addition to the above skills and experience, the successful candidate will require an unrestricted WA “C” class driver’s licence and be required to submit a national police clearance prior to appointment.
