The Role
The Executive Assistant position is an exciting new role in our Corporate Services team. The Corporate Services Division is responsible for the effective management, leadership and provision of corporate service functions including financial management, human resources, business services, purchasing and contract management and records management to support the achievement of the Insurance Commission’s strategic objectives.
The Person
You will align with our values and have the capability to:
- Provide high-level, confidential and proactive administrative support to Executives, including the ability to deal with sensitive information with tact and discretion;
- Work collaboratively in a team;
- Develop and maintain productive relationships, including liaising and consulting with a variety of individuals both internal and external to the Insurance Commission;
- Proficiently use contemporary information technology systems.
You will receive ongoing training, coaching and mentoring to enhance your skills.

The Insurance Commission is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to 2.7 million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government.
The Insurance Commission has generated $1.3 billion in revenue and earnings for the six months to 31 December 2024 and with total assets of almost $9 billion, is a substantial self–funded statutory authority.

Appointment Information
In addition to the immediately available position, appointments may be made from this process within a twelve month period to similar positions that may be permanent or contract, including fixed term appointments with the possibility of extension or subsequent permanency.
