Executive Assistant to the CEO

Part-time | 30 hours per week | Rich River Golf Club

Are you a proactive and highly organised professional looking for a pivotal role in executive support? Rich River Golf Club is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to the CEO to provide high-level administrative, governance, and project support.

About the Role

As the Executive Assistant, you will be the right-hand to the CEO and Board, ensuring seamless executive operations. You’ll coordinate Board and committee meetings, manage governance and compliance processes, track projects, and facilitate cross-departmental initiatives. This role requires exceptional discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Support: Manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, travel, and correspondence.
  • Board & Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, reports, and papers; attend meetings to take accurate minutes, especially for financial and strategic discussions.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary contact for the CEO with Board members, committees, contractors, and external partners.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure all Board activities comply with governance requirements, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Project Coordination: Support the Executive team in implementing new processes and initiatives across departments.
  • Technology Utilisation: Efficiently use Microsoft Office, MiClub, MSL, and PowerGolf for administrative and reporting tasks.
  • Confidentiality & Professionalism: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as required that align with the role’s scope, qualifications, and experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role and/or formal qualifications in business administration or a related field.
  • Exceptional Organisation: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Outstanding Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionalism & Discretion: A polished and proactive approach, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Initiative & Adaptability: Ability to work autonomously, problem-solve, and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Flexibility: Availability to attend Board and committee meetings as required.

Work Hours & Flexibility

This part-time role offers 30 hours per week, with the option to work over five days or four days if required. This flexibility makes it an excellent opportunity for those balancing work with family commitments, such as school drop-offs and pick-ups.
