Endress+Hauser Australia has experienced considerable growth. As a result, a new full-time position for an experienced Mechatronic Engineer has become available for our NSW Engineering team, located in Artarmon, Sydney.

Role + Responsibilities:

  • Assess control systems for industrial processes using Endress+Hauser instrumentation.
  • Implement automation solutions to optimize efficiency in industrial and production plants in the Water Wastewater, Chemical, Food & Beverage and Mining industries.
  • Select specific control and systems applications suited for different industrial solutions.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics of electromechanical systems to enhance reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all engineering applications.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to integrate mechatronic solutions into existing systems.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for process automation and optimization.
  • Stay current with advancements in mechatronics engineering and emerging technologies.
  • Assist in the development of technical documentation, including schematics and system specifications.

Skills + Experience:

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mechatronics, automation, or industrial instrumentation.
  • Strong understanding of control systems, robotics, and electromechanical integration.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data for system performance improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, and automation equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of industrial plant operations, power stations, and machinery control systems.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards.
