Duties & Responsibilities of the role:
- Assist in assembly, integration, and testing hardware systems
- Prepare manufacturing documentation and coordinate component ordering
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures around production activities
- Design mechanical components for CNC machining or 3D printing, including generating manufacturing drawings
- Design simple electronic PCBs to support product testing and manufacturing
- Manufacture and test electrical harnesses
- Assist electronic subsystem assembly and debugging
- Maintain documentation such as assembly plans, test procedures, and reports
- Work in a cleanroom environment
- Manage facility maintenance and consumables stock.
About your skills, experience, and qualification:
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python scripting and basic knowledge of Linux systems
- Strong skills in hardware testing, debugging, and using electronic test equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analysers
- Initiative to devise and design test equipment to facilitate and automate AIT activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of quality control standards and processes
- Strong adherence to procedures, ensuring top-notch product quality.
