Lead a team of marketing professionals and implement marketing strategies to promote Charles Darwin University (CDU).

About the Position
As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance the university's brand visibility, attracts prospective students, and promotes a positive image within the community. Overseeing the activities of a team of marketing professionals, you will also manage the University’s creative and media agencies and ensure that all work produced delivers against the universities strategic plan.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Completion or progress towards completion, of a relevant postgraduate qualification with extensive relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of relevant experience and /or education/training.
  • Proven knowledge and skills in the development and implementation of best-practice marketing strategies that achieve set goals and targets.
  • Extensive experience in developing and delivering strategic marketing strategies at a leadership level in an organisation with multiple audiences and target markets.
  • Ability to develop and drive coherent branding, messaging, and content in a large and diverse organisation.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of marketing professionals.
  • Proven skills in effective project management to deliver multi-disciplinary projects on time and on budget.
  • Proven ability to foster positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and suppliers within a complex and changing environment.
  • Proven ability to interpret data and information for an evidence-based approach to decision making as it relates to marketing.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 8/9. The base salary will be in the range of $104,888 to $128,851 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $122,718 - $150,755 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
