About The Role:

The Project Manager is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to successfully deliver Information and Technology (I&T) projects using multiple project methodologies. This involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define project objectives, and translate them into actionable plans, ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope.

As a project lead, the role is responsible for monitoring progress, tracking and managing risks and issues, taking corrective action as needed as well as communicating project status to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including senior management, business partners, and technical teams.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Considerable experience in IT/Technical project management or other senior delivery roles.
  • Proven Project Management skills managing Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Communication, Risk, Procurement, Stakeholder Management and Integration.
  • Experience with delivery of projects through practical traditional and Agile methodologies.
  • Successfully managed complex projects that involve multiple functional areas, teams (including vendors), technologies and critical systems.
  • The ability to deliver complex initiatives spanning multiple business and IT areas, to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure expectations for delivery are met or managed appropriately.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.

The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.
