About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Reporting to join our Nuclear and Capability (N&C) Business Unit, as we grow ASC capabilities to support both Collins Class and Nuclear Powered Submarine Programs.
As a Project Manager – Reporting you will be accountable for the delivery of data-driven value add reporting. This means utilising data to provide extra benefits or improvements by analysing information to make better decisions and create more value for the business, programs and projects. Working closely with the Nuclear and Capability (N&C) Leadership Team, you will lead the planning, execution, and closeout of various digital improvement and reporting projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, cost, and performance objectives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver data-driven value-add reporting for effective decision-making.
- Develop and maintain improvement project schedules and cost baselines.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- Produce reports and metrics on project progress.
- Implement agile project management processes for continuous improvement.
- Build project management capability through coaching and education.
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement projects within N&C Business Unit.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in a technical or management discipline relevant to project management.
- Membership of a Project Management body and/or Agile Project Management Accreditation.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a complex project environment, ideally in the defence sector.
- Demonstrated experience in agile project management and reporting of digital improvement projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Autonomous, goal-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Understanding of the shipbuilding/defence sector through previous work experience would be advantageous.
Eligibility
