About You

As an experienced Foreman with a strong background in civil construction and maintenance, you are adept at leading and supervising teams in the planning and execution of Council related projects. Your hands-on leadership style, combined with your expertise in managing construction activities, allows you to drive successful outcomes while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. The Team

The Construction & Maintenance North (CMN) Branch plays a crucial role in driving capital and operational works projects across a predominantly rural road and stormwater infrastructure network.

About the position

The Foreman position will be responsible for leading and supervising Council teams in the planning of Council related civil construction and maintenance activities.

  • Two permanent full-time positions based at the Goombungee Depot.
  • The annual salary range for this position is $81,856.93 - $87,550.25 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

How to be successful in this position

Qualification(s), training and/or experience, specific to the role: Mandatory qualifications, including,

  • WH&S Competency Card for CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
  • Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.
  • Certificate III and IV in Civil Construction or, if not held, a willingness to obtain within an agreed timeframe.
  • A combination of experience, qualifications and competence in the civil construction and maintenance field which enables the applicant to perform the duties of the position.
