About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sports Court Construction Foreman to join our team at The Sports Court Builders in Brisbane, QLD. As the Sports Court Construction Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the construction and installation of high-quality sports courts, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

• Manage, coordinate and complete the construction team to ensure all sports court projects are completed on time and within budget
• Oversee the installation of sports court surfaces, fencing, lighting and other associated equipment
• Oversee base construction, earthworks and concrete slabs
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to address any issues that arise and maintain positive relationships
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the construction team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Monitor and report on progress, quality and safety throughout all stages of the construction process
• Assist with the preparation of job quotes, timelines and resource planning as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in the construction industry, with a focus on sports court installation - landscape construction also considered
• Strong working knowledge of sports court construction techniques, materials and equipment and/or Landscape construction
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work to deadlines
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and specifications
• Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and ensuring a safe working environment
• Excellent communication skilss
• Relevant trade qualifications or construction industry certifications
