Your Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Research – Assist financial advisers with strategy formulation, product research, and recommendation discussions.
• Statement of Advice (SOA) & Advice Document Preparation – Prepare high-quality, compliant advice documents including Statement of Advice (SOA), Record of Advice (ROA), and Strategy Papers within a fixed turnaround time.
• Compliance & Peer Reviews – Peer-review advice documents to ensure compliance, accuracy, and quality control.
• Financial Modelling & Calculations – Conduct detailed financial projections, cost comparisons, and scenario analysis.
• Workflow Management – Ability to complete at least one request per day, subject to complexity.
• Collaboration – Work closely with multiple financial advisers, Associate Advisers, and the wider team.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Paraplanner.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of complex strategies including Super, Retirement, SMSFs, Investment, Gearing, Debt reduction.
Qualifications: Minimum RG146 preferred with relevant industry certifications.
Technical Skills: Advanced Word & Excel skills; Xplan is a Must (including WealthSolver, Risk Researcher, and CALM) highly regarded.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to manage complex strategies with high attention to detail.
Communication & Organisation: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with multiple advisers and clients effectively.
