About the Role:
As an Occupational Hygiene Technician, you will be responsible for conducting workplace assessments, monitoring hazardous materials, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. This role is perfect for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail who enjoys fieldwork and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workplace exposure monitoring for dust, noise, fumes, and other hazardous substances.
• Assist in asbestos and hazardous materials inspections, sampling, and reporting.
• Perform indoor air quality assessments and ventilation testing.
• Support senior occupational hygienists with site assessments and data analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for clients.
• Maintain and calibrate sampling and monitoring equipment.
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafe Victoria and relevant Australian Standards.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A relevant qualification such as Bachelor of Science - environmental, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology etc.
• Experience in occupational hygiene, environmental monitoring, or hazardous materials assessments (preferred but not essential).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A current driver’s licence (essential).
