Client & You:

A specialist company that designs medium and large industrial engineering equipment requires a Design Draftsperson.

Within this job, you will liaise with customers, and external stakeholders to prepare and produce 3D design models, plant layouts, and components, of material handling equipment.

Daily, your role will involve:

• Design & project ownership, conducting evaluations, assisting with estimates and tenders, reverse engineering, bill of material creation and maintenance, and product/component improvement.
• Design of plant layouts, material handling equipment, process equipment, vibrational and rotational equipment, screens, separators, coolers, mills, mixers, blenders, tanks, platforms, hoppers, and more.
• Develop from initial concept through to completion.
• Stainless steel and sheet metal fabrication design.
• Bill of materials creation & maintenance.

To apply you will have:

• Full working rights in Australia.
• A TAFE and 5 years of design experience.
• 5 years of 3D design to manufacture / fabrication experience.
• Must be a Team Player.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
