Position Overview:

As a Production Engineer at Proa Energy, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes for renewable energy products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, ensure product quality, and support our commitment to safety. This full-time position requires daily onsite attendance at our Hallam facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate on the development of quality assurance strategies to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Manage inventory and procurement processes to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Develop and implement production schedules and strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Assist in the setup and operation of Proa’s manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to production issues.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of components.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a production engineering role, preferably in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, particularly Cin7 Core, is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
