The Position

This position is critical in ensuring smooth production planning, supporting lean initiatives, and assisting with quality and administration tasks. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will suit a detail-oriented professional with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project timelines, set labour targets, allocate jobs, and maintain production schedules.
• Update ERP systems and work closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflows.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, KPI tracking, and process improvement programs.
• Identify and report quality concerns, maintain quality trackers, and liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Assist with purchasing, service orders, job documentation, and coordination with suppliers and warehouse teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP highly regarded) and advanced MS Office skills (Excel & Word).
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
• A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Australian Citizen or holds PR
