Digital Learning Developer

Contract Duration: 5 months
Location: Melbourne CBD - Hybrid

Position Purpose

We are seeking a Digital Learning Developer to design, develop, and produce high-quality digital learning products aimed at supporting Relevant Building Surveyors (RBS). This role will focus on delivering an engaging eLearning package covering Statutory Referral instruments, associated legislation, and regulatory practices.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will create interactive and engaging digital learning experiences tailored to adult learners. These initiatives will enhance regulatory knowledge, skills, and competencies among RBS, leading to more effective and enforceable statutory referral submissions, ultimately benefiting the VBA and consumers.

Additionally, this role will contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, driving excellence within the building regulatory community.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and develop engaging, adult-learner-focused digital learning solutions.
• Design and develop digital learning courses, modules, and content tailored to regulatory requirements.
• Create and publish interactive, visually appealing, and accessible digital learning materials, incorporating graphics, rich media, and interactive elements.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to develop impactful learning experiences.
• Collaborate with the Regulatory L&D team and broader organisation to ensure high-quality learning outcomes, incorporating risk management and problem-solving approaches.

Specialist Expertise

• Proven experience as a Digital Learning Developer or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or regulatory compliance environment.
• Proficiency with eLearning development tools such as Articulate Rise, Vyond, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong Instructional Design experience, with expertise in designing digitally based adult learning content that meets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG).
• Ability to ensure content aligns with organisational branding guidelines.
