Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with this fantastic health service located in Tasmania to help them find a Nursing Learning and Development Manager to join their team.
This role involves coordinating and delivering training for nursing and support staff. It includes identifying long-term workforce development needs and aligning them with organizational goals while fostering a learning culture. The educator aspect focuses on facilitating workplace learning through clinical teaching, supervision, assessment, and support for all staff, including graduate and postgraduate students.

- $65.19 - $69.70 per hour (pending experience) + 11.5% superannuation

The location
You will be living in a highly sought-after, picturesque Tasmanian city known for its historic architecture, thriving food scene, and stunning natural landscapes. Key Responsibilities:
Education & Training: Lead and coordinate staff training, ensuring compliance with mandatory requirements and best practices.
Leadership & Development: Mentor the Learning & Development team, support workforce growth, and foster a culture of learning.
Service Excellence: Develop evidence-based educational programs, maintain confidentiality, and respond to staff and patient needs.
Strategic Planning: Identify learning needs, manage budgets, and align education initiatives with organizational goals.
Community Engagement: Promote graduate programs and participate in outreach events.
Workplace Safety & Compliance: Uphold WH&S policies, infection control measures, and national healthcare standards.
To be eligible you must:
- Have full AHPRA registration with no restrictions
- Bachelor of Nursing qualification
- Post graduate qualification in education
- Experience in leadership roles
- Commitment to continue professional development
- Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing issues and practices pertaining to position
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Immunisations as required for the role, including COVID-19 vaccination
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Must have full Australian working rights(i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
