The Position

Position Title: Service Desk Officer
Classification: HS1 - HS2 (Based on experience, less experienced and current IT student candidates will be considered)
Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $2,247.80 - $2,568.00
Hours per fortnight: 76 or 80 (with an ADO every 4 weeks)
Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time

The Role

The Service Desk Officer, reporting to the Service Desk Manager, will be the first point of contact for all IT-related support requests, responsible for triaging, diagnosing, and resolving issues. Key responsibilities include handling a wide range of Service Desk activities within the IT Services Department, managing and owning incidents and service requests, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders by providing regular updates. The role will also involve assisting with the documentation of solutions, as well as contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and other IT-related projects as needed.

Your New Division

The Digital Services Division is charged with delivering technology solutions that deliver on our vision. As well as responsibility for the mainstream ICT services and support the division encompasses Research and Development, Innovation, ePR project, Project Management Office, Clinical Analytics and associated resources including the Chief Clinical Information Officers.
