WM Waste Management is an Australian family-owned business that has been servicing our community for nearly 40 years. We are committed to providing efficient and safe rubbish collection services to Melbourne’s Southeast and across other parts of Victoria and southern New South Wales.

Our services include skip bin hire, servicing residential customers, businesses and major state projects, and hard waste collections where we work with local councils all over Victoria to provide both Area Wide and At Call hard waste services. We also do bulk mattress collections for businesses and councils across Victoria and parts of New South Wales.

About the Role

WM Waste Management Services is seeking a friendly and reliable Customer Service and Bookings Officer to join our team. The primary responsibilities will include answering telephones and managing hard waste bookings. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and assist residents with waste collection inquiries.
• Take bookings and enter orders into booking portals and council systems.
• Clearly communicate rules, pricing, and service details.
• Follow up on non-payment or declined credit cards.
• Schedule At-Call Council waste collections.
• Process credit card payments
• Handle booking cancellations and record complaints

What We're Looking For:

• Strong communicator who can listen, articulate information clearly
• Good attention to detail to accurately input data
• Excel experience is preferred
• Candidates who can contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• School leavers looking for an entry-level position in an office setting.
