As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our games meet regulatory standards across multiple jurisdictions.
What You’ll Do:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure our slot games adhere to gaming regulations, licensing requirements, and responsible gaming policies.
Audits & Reporting: Conduct compliance audits, prepare regulatory reports, and liaise with licensing bodies.
Risk Management: Identify compliance risks and implement proactive solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with legal, product, and development teams to integrate compliance seamlessly into game design.
Policy Development: Maintain and update internal policies to align with industry changes.
Market Expansion: Support entry into new markets by researching and interpreting regulatory requirements.
You will be responsible for packaging and submitting various products (software and hardware) for regulatory approval.
You will also be responsible for status tracking of those submissions, cost tracking and ensuring approved item versions are available for deployment as per approval documentation. This person will also be responsible for maintaining technical requirements documentation for drafts and releases.
What We’re Looking For:
Industry Knowledge: Experience in gaming compliance, preferably within slot games, online casinos, or gambling regulators
Regulatory Expertise: Strong understanding of gaming laws and licensing frameworks (e.g., UKGC, MGA, US state regulations).
Attention to Detail: Ability to spot compliance risks and ensure all documentation is accurate.
Communication Skills: Ability to work with regulators and internal teams effectively.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with compliance tools, reporting software, and regulatory technology.
Essential Job Functions:
- Generating submission documentation as per jurisdictional requirements using information from product teams.
- Collating with software provided by R&D to submit for external evaluation and regulatory approval. These include secondary product submissions for regulatory approval.
- Tracking and maintaining product submission/approval status on company database. Ensuring information is up to date for intended audiences, including monitoring and preparing periodic status reports.
- Effectively collaborates with multifunctional teams including, but not limited to, Engineering, Project Management and Executive Leadership on new product development and existing product improvements.
- Works closely with all departments and stakeholders to provide input regarding identified product field issues, to include regulator communications, assistance in creating and distributing appropriate regulatory notifications and tracking through to resolution.
- Identify and report product compliance risks to management.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships and communication channels with regulatory authorities/testing agencies, being a point of contact for designated regulators and testing agencies
- Takes an active role in the preparation of product submissions as well as any high-priority projects, as required.
- Assists in the resolution of issues or discrepancies that the regulatory/testing agencies encounter during the submission/testing process.
- Interpret laws, rules, and regulations to determine filing and reporting requirements for regulatory agencies. This may also include working with legal counsel in the negotiation process for changes to regulations where appropriate and required for product approval.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of existing rules, regulations and legislative requirements relating to company products.
- Identify process efficiencies and work collaboratively to implement improvements
