About the opportunity
The Accommodation Operations Leasing Officer will oversee the applications and bookings for university partnerships with any purpose-built student accommodation, and ensure that occupancy and revenue is maximised.
Reporting to the General Manager Accommodation Operations, you will ensure applications, bookings and peak periods are coordinated seamlessly, develop and maintain a marketing strategy and ensure robust processes are implemented to ensure year on year occupancy and revenue targets are met.
The jobholder will also work collaboratively with other members of the Accommodation Operations to ensure a high level of customer service, support and overall student experience is provided.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- driving customer service, occupancy and revenue
- reporting and compliance
- assisting with general administrative services and operations support for the Accommodation operations business unit
- process improvement
- to maintain effective relationships within UI and the University, and with external stakeholders to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- to assist in the integration and operational readiness of any new student accommodation projects or acquisitions.
About you
- strong operational experience preferably in student accommodation or similar
- sound financial acumen
- demonstrated excellent organisational skills with strong emphasis on time management, financial accountability, and flexibility to adjust and adapt workloads sometimes under pressure, with competing priorities and sometimes limited supervision
- advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with extensive diary management experience
- sales, leasing and dynamic pricing experience in student accommodation or similar
- experience in stakeholder management and the ability to foster productive relationships with key stakeholders and contractors.
