About the role
We are seeking reliable, experienced Medical Receptionist/ Office Administrator to join the team at Sapphire Family Medical Practice in the Sydney Eastern Suburbs. This position is approximately 26 hrs per week including every Saturdays (8-1pm) . This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our busy medical practice.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Efficiently managing patient bookings, enquiries and records
- Assisting with the coordination of appointments, referrals and test results
- Providing administrative support to the medical team, including invoicing, scanning , answering calls , assistIng practice manager with accreditation.
- Maintaining the practice's inventory and supplies
- Processing payments and managing the medical practice's finances
- Ensuring compliance with relevant medical and administrative policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist in a Medical Practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, medical staff and other stakeholders in a professional and empathetic manner
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using medical practice management software Best Practice or equivalent and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of medical software Best Practice or equivalent ,terminology and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements
- A caring and compassionate attitude, with a genuine interest in providing quality healthcare
- Team player who is able to work on their own independently
- must be efficient and able to multitask
