The Package: $104,586.04 - $115,562.2 gross per annum + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 16 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full time– 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements may apply.

Are you a skilled leader with a passion for driving excellence and efficiency? Council is seeking a Coordinator to lead a high performing team at the front-line of our development branch.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the officers who are the first and last point of contact for residents and businesses navigating development applications, building approvals, certifications and subdivision matters.
  • Enhance the customer experience by ensuring clear, efficient, ad supportive interactions that recognise the importance of community investment in our local government area.
  • Drive improvements to systems and processes, ensuring they support the smooth delivery of regulatory services.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or similar and extensive working experience in the effective and efficient leadership of teams that provide support to a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Has the capacity to lead, motivate and supervise staff so that service unit strategies are delivered while use of organisational resources is optimised.
  • Has the ability to plan, organise, set priorities and manage time, so that organisational resources are optimised, and objectives are achieved within an agreed timeline.
