About the role

The role reports to the CEO and is responsible for overseeing and integrating key functions that assist the organisation meet business and contractual obligations. You will proactively manage industry, government and stakeholder relationships and identify and cultivate opportunities to broaden the industry member base. You will also oversee the uplift in training and industry skills to achieve Net Zero goals.

Working closely with a small executive team, this role requires a dynamic individual with a comprehensive understanding of corporate governance, communication, stakeholder engagement, vocational education, data management and reporting and governance frameworks.

About you

This role suites a dynamic individual who thrives on managing a broad portfolio of mission critical activities often taking a ‘hands on’ approach.

To be successful you will have:

• a degree in strategic management, corporate governance, business administration or similar
• relevant post graduate qualifications demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning is highly regarded
• record of accomplishment in corporate affairs/stakeholder management, government and adult education or vocational education sectors
• applied knowledge of machinery of government processes including government decision making, contract management and policy development
• proven track record in leading a small cross functional team, delivering valued outcomes in a complex environment
• comprhensive understanding of corporate governance principles
• familiarity within the environment sector and/or climate control industry will be highly regarded
• experience in implementing ISO QA systems will be well regarded.
